The Department of Information and Culture in Maidan Wardak province has opened a book exhibition to mark the occasion of Book and Reading Week.
During the opening ceremony, Mawlawi Habibullah Mujahid, the Director of Information and Culture of Maidan Wardak, spoke about the significance of reading. He emphasized that reading is essential for intellectual growth and the development of a reading culture, particularly among the youth.
Zainullah Mohammadi, the manager of the public library in Maidan Wardak, stated that the library currently houses approximately five thousand books.
The exhibition attracted dozens of visitors who gathered to explore the collection and celebrate the promotion of literacy and education in the province.
