Construction of truck parking terminal underway in Logar province

The Ministry of Urban Development and Housing announced that construction of a truck parking terminal is underway in the Waidakh area of Logar province. The terminal is being built on 200 jeribs of land near the provincial center. Work is progressing rapidly on the site.

The project is being undertaken at a cost of around 20 million afghanis. It is receiving support from the Ministry of Transport. This funding is enabling the construction activities to move forward.

Approximately 10 percent of the work has been completed. The technical and engineering team of the Logar province Urban Development and Housing Directorate is monitoring the project. They are keeping track of all activities at the location.

The terminal is expected to play an important role in regulating trucks. It will help improve urban order in the area. The facility will also facilitate transport services for the province.
