Etihad Airways Increases Kabul Flights to Twice Daily

Etihad Airways has announced an increase in its flight schedule to Kabul. The airline will operate two flights each day to the Afghan capital beginning on July 15, 2026. This change is being made because of significant growth in the number of passengers traveling on the route.

The carrier launched its Kabul service in March 2026. At the start, it provided four flights every week. The new frequency represents the second expansion of the service since it was introduced.

All flights will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft. These planes have a seating configuration that includes eight business class seats and one hundred fifty economy class seats.

The increase in flights is expected to help strengthen economic and social ties between the United Arab Emirates and Afghanistan. Thousands of Afghans live and work in the UAE, which supports the demand for more regular air service between the two countries.

Travelers will benefit from additional options when planning trips. The airline has responded to the market by adjusting its operations accordingly. This type of schedule change is typical when passenger numbers rise on a particular route.
