
First Day of Eid al-Fitr Celebrated Across Afghan Provinces in Secure Atmosphere
The first day of Eid al-Fitr was observed across various provinces of Afghanistan with extensive public participation, reassuring security measures and an atmosphere of unity.
Local officials and scholars delivered Eid speeches emphasizing the strengthening of unity, mutual respect and adherence to Islamic values. They urged people to avoid ethnic prejudices and to work jointly toward consolidating peace and stability.
Hafiz Ans Haqqani stated on the occasion that protecting Islam, the homeland and the system amounts to safeguarding the path inherited from centuries ago. He called on the public to focus on the policies and performance of the leaders of the Islamic system rather than the words of individuals.
The Eid message of the Amir al-Mu'minin was recited in mosques, with calls for the people to implement his guidance.
Security and defense institutions reported assuring complete security during the Eid period, with special measures in place nationwide to enable celebrations in a peaceful environment. A large number of citizens expressed satisfaction with the security situation and appreciated the efforts of the security forces.
