Former Afghanistan National Footballer Works as Body Preparation Specialist in Netherlands

Milad Entezor, a 33-year-old who earned 25 caps for the Afghanistan national football team, now works as a laboratory technician and body preparation specialist at Radboudumc medical center in Nijmegen, Netherlands.

Entezor fled Afghanistan to the Netherlands with his family. In an interview with Voetbal International, he recounted starting in the NEC club's youth academy at age 9. He said William Frood and Navarone Foor took him to first-team practices, but he received no contract. His time with Top Oss was brief following a coaching change.

Unable to wait financially for a professional football breakthrough, Entezor chose a different career path.

He described playing for the Afghanistan national team under heavy security, with armed forces present in every corner of the stadiums for some matches.
