KABUL (Afghan Verified) — The High Directorate of Emirate Companies has issued a warning to the private sector and traders in the petroleum products sector, stating that 17 companies will face no future commercial interactions or contracts due to violations of applicable laws and incomplete customs procedures for petroleum cargoes.

The affected companies include Farid Ahmad Ghaznawi, Aref Aziz Farahi, Ariana Holding, Shakur Hamdard, Mohammad Naim Noorzai, Taban Zarang, Baradaran Watanal, Khalid Mazamil and others, totaling 17 firms. They have been given one month to complete the outstanding customs procedures for their petroleum shipments.

After the one-month period, these companies will lose permission for transit stages of petroleum products at customs and the right to import such goods, according to the directorate.

The announcement follows previous statements from the Standards and Quality Authority, which has emphasized strict monitoring of imported goods at all ports and a policy of no leniency toward the entry of harmful products.
