Iran's IRGC Warns of Imminent Attacks on US-Linked Industries in Region
Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency reported, citing the public relations office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), that industries linked to the United States in the region may be targeted in attacks in the coming hours.
The IRGC warned Washington to evacuate all US-affiliated industrial facilities and urged residents living near factories in which Americans hold shares to leave surrounding areas as a precaution.
No further details were provided about the timing or method of the possible attacks, but the warning signals rising tensions across the region.
The statement came as Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Tehran would continue fighting until Donald Trump realizes that the war launched against Iran was a “mistake.”
Tensions between Iran and the United States have escalated sharply in recent weeks, with both sides exchanging threats and military posturing. Regional analysts warn that attacks on US-linked infrastructure could widen the conflict and threaten energy and industrial facilities across the Middle East.
The latest warning reflects Tehran’s strategy of increasing pressure on American interests in the region as the confrontation between the two countries deepens.
