
Islamic Emirate Delivers Emergency Medical and Food Supplies to Eastern Nuristan
NURISTAN (Afghan Verified) -- The Nuristan Province Security Command stated that the Nuristan Public Health Directorate, in cooperation with the Ministries of Public Health and Defense, delivered four tons of food items, medicines, oxygen, and other essential medical supplies by helicopter to Kamdesh and Bargmatol districts in eastern Nuristan province.
During these flights, seven patients who had recently undergone surgery and whose health conditions were worrisome were transferred to Nangarhar province for better treatment.
The Islamic Emirate took this action after land routes in eastern Nuristan were closed since the first days of the conflict due to recent clashes with the Pakistani military regime, causing serious problems for the area's residents, according to the Security Command.
The Nuristan Public Health Directorate assured that it is fully prepared for any emergency situations.
