
Islamic Emirate Interior Minister: Harming Muslim People for Others' Interests 'Unbearable'
KABUL -- Islamic Emirate Interior Minister Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani spoke at the funeral ceremony for victims of a Pakistani attack on a 2,000-bed addicts' treatment hospital in east Kabul, stating that Afghanistan is not weak on the battlefield.
Haqqani warned that harming Muslim people for the interests of others is 'unbearable.' He added: 'We have good intentions, but we will also pay attention to the consequences of actions. We reserve the right to respond and retaliate against any action.'
The minister expressed appreciation for condolences and support from various countries and organizations following the incident. He called on international institutions and communities to hold the perpetrators of the bloody attack on Afghan civilians accountable.
The attack left hundreds martyred, prompting national and international reactions.
