The construction of a new commercial market named Ittifaq has been completed in Klat city, the center of Zabul province. The project, which cost 1.5 million dollars, includes one hundred shops dedicated to the buying and selling of carpets and related goods. The market was built over the course of one year and has now been handed over for operation.

Private investor Nematullah, who undertook the project, stated that the market was constructed to develop the local market, create job opportunities, and strengthen commercial activities in the region. His comments highlight the goals behind the investment in the province.

Klat municipality officials have also commented on the inauguration of the market. They described the project as an important step for economic growth.
