
Kandahar Directorate Prevents Smuggling of 86 Livestock from Pakistan
The Kandahar Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Directorate reported preventing the smuggling of 86 livestock from Pakistan into Afghanistan via Spin Boldak district along the Durand hypothetical line. The livestock included 74 sheep and 12 goats.
The directorate provided these details in its official newsletter. It stated that some individuals were arrested in connection with the smuggling attempt and that legal action will be taken against them.
The directorate added that anti-smuggling efforts and security campaigns along the Durand hypothetical line have recently intensified. This includes an increase in mobile campaigns conducted by security officials in the border area.
