Reliability assessment

Two independent sources corroborate the core event of a militant attack on a checkpoint in Hangu with casualties on both sides; minor variations in casualty figures are normal and do not undermine confirmation of the incident

The source language mixes facts with framing or advocacy wording. Khaama Press: "continuing security challenge", "particularly serious", "persistent tensions" — these phrases add mild negative emotional framing and imply ongoing failure or threat without presenting raw data alone.
