Minister of Information and Culture Inspects Herat's Information and Culture Directorate

Herat province officials received a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Information and Culture as Minister Sheikh Shir Ahmad Haqani and Deputy Muhaajir Farahī arrived to inspect the local directorate's affairs. The visit was aimed at assessing the current situation and providing guidance for future activities.

During the course of the inspection, Sheikh Shir Ahmad Haqani placed particular stress on the need to expand the scope of cultural services available to the population of Herat. The minister also focused on the importance of enhancing the efficiency of the work process within the directorate. He instructed that quality services must be prioritized in all activities related to information and culture. Several recommendations were made by the minister to help the officials align their efforts with these objectives.

In response to the visit, Maulvi Ahmadullah Muttaqi, the director for Information and Culture in Herat, expressed that the ministerial inspection was a valuable opportunity. He noted that it would lead to improved coordination between the national ministry and the provincial directorate. Muttaqi further indicated that the engagement would positively impact the state of cultural activities being carried out in the province.

This inspection is a continuation of the minister's engagement with Herat province. It comes after a visit that occurred last week in which Sheikh Shir Ahmad Haqani headed a delegation. That earlier meeting was specifically convened to address the implementation of the seventeenth decree issued by the Ameer al-Mu'mineen. The latest visit allows for a direct review of how those directives are being followed at the directorate level.
