Ministry of Finance Officials Urge Strict Budget Management for 1405 Fiscal Year
Officials from the Ministry of Finance convened a one-day training workshop for representatives of various budgetary units, focusing on the implementation of the 1405 fiscal year general budget guidelines and the proper recording of allocations. The event aimed to align departmental financial practices with national standards.
During the session, Financial Deputy Abdul Qadir Ahmad addressed the attendees, emphasizing the necessity of preventing unnecessary expenditures across all state institutions. He instructed budgetary units to strictly follow the established budget guidelines to maintain fiscal discipline and ensure transparency in public spending.
Budget Department Director General Abdul Jabbar Wahdat also spoke at the workshop, noting that the effective management and allocation of collected revenues hold greater importance than the collection process itself. He stressed that responsible budget oversight is a shared responsibility among all government departments and requires coordinated implementation.
The training concluded with technical presentations detailing the specific budget guidelines and the correct procedures for completing allocation forms. Officials then facilitated a question-and-answer session to address operational inquiries from department representatives. The ministry indicated that strict compliance with these financial directives will be expected throughout the upcoming fiscal period.
