The Ministry of Information and Culture of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has announced that 200 new songs were recorded during the solar year 1404. These recordings were produced through the studios of the Department of Chants and Songs as part of the ministry's ongoing cultural programming.
Alongside the recording of new music, the ministry reported that the Department of Chants and Songs carried out comprehensive evaluations of 20 studios. These assessments were conducted in the central administration as well as in various provincial centers to monitor and ensure the quality of recording facilities available.
The ministry also highlighted its efforts to preserve and promote traditional literary culture across the country. This included the organization of five traditional poetry gatherings, known as mushaeras, which were held in the provinces of Paktia, Nuristan, Zabul, Kandahar, and Helmand.
To further support the development of artistic talent and technical proficiency, the Ministry of Information and Culture organized and conducted specialized training seminars. These seminars were specifically tailored for poets, song singers, and chanters, and were implemented across 20 different provinces to provide professional guidance and skill enhancement for practitioners of these traditional arts.
