The Ministry of Interior has distributed approximately 2,300 new motorcycles and fast vehicles to various police departments, including units in Kabul. The initiative is designed to strengthen police forces and improve operational response times when addressing citizens' concerns.
According to the distribution breakdown, 2,000 motorcycles were allocated to the security police, while 150 were provided to the traffic police. Additionally, 100 motorcycles were delivered to the Kabul Security Command and 50 to the fire police and firefighters.
Officials noted that the equipment is intended to increase the overall operational capacity of the police. To improve identification and organization, the Ministry is introducing a color-coded system where vehicles are assigned specific colors based on their respective departments. The Ministry further stated that existing vehicles will be repainted to comply with this new system.
The distribution ceremony was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Mawlawi Mohammad Nabi Omari, Mawlawi Zainullah Aber, General Mawlawi Rahmatullah Najib Haji, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Munir, and Haji Wazir Haqani.
