Ministry Reports Over 500 Rural Development Projects Completed in 1404 Solar Year
The Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development has announced the completion of more than 500 infrastructure projects across 14 provinces during the 1404 solar year. Ministry officials reported that the initiatives were funded with over one billion Afghanis and approximately five hundred thousand United States dollars.
The completed works encompass a range of essential rural infrastructure, including water supply networks, road construction, deep wells, retaining walls, and check dams. According to ministry representatives, these developments have directly benefited tens of thousands of families living in rural communities throughout the country.
In a recent public statement, officials emphasized that the Islamic Emirate has maintained a consistent focus on balanced, needs-based development since returning to power. They noted that the allocation of financial resources for rural infrastructure is specifically intended to address localized requirements and improve overall living standards in underserved regions.
The ministry stated that the implementation of these projects was closely coordinated with provincial authorities to ensure alignment with community priorities. Officials added that the ongoing rural initiatives are part of a broader strategy to strengthen local economies and enhance access to essential services. The announcement did not specify the exact geographic distribution of the individual projects or provide a detailed breakdown of the allocated funding by province.
