Ministry Reports Printing of 70,000 Copies of Amir al-Mu'minin's Book Over Past Year
The Ministry of Information and Culture announced the printing and distribution of approximately 70,000 copies of "Guidelines for Mujahideen," a book authored by Amir al-Mu'minin, over the course of the 1404 Solar Hijri year. The announcement outlines recent publishing initiatives undertaken by the cultural sector.
The ministry reported that the publication effort was supported by the establishment of dedicated book sales booths across all provinces. These facilities, operated in coordination with the Presidency of the Holy Quran Publishing House and Baihaqi Publications, were deployed to improve public access to printed materials. Officials stated that the provincial network was fully implemented within the past twelve months.
Beyond the primary publication, the ministry provided a detailed breakdown of additional literary activities during the same reporting period. Records indicate that six new titles were printed, while 21 manuscripts were prepared for design. The cultural sector also oversaw the authorship of eight new books and the translation of nine existing works into local languages. In conjunction with these publishing milestones, 14 bookstores in Kabul were reopened, expanding retail access for readers in the capital. The ministry's statement serves as an annual review of cultural and publishing developments under the current administration.
