The Ministry of Information and Culture announced that the National Archives completed the digitization and restoration of hundreds of historical works during the solar year 1404.

According to the ministry, the National Archives focused on preserving a variety of historical documents through digitization. The ministry reported that 741 books, 232 manuscripts, and 358 decrees were digitized. Additionally, the archives digitized one genealogical record as part of these preservation efforts.

The ministry also detailed the physical restoration of historical materials. It stated that 830 books, 60 manuscripts, and four decrees were restored and bound during the same period. This process is intended to protect the physical integrity of the documents for future use and study.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Information and Culture announced that the National Archives expanded its existing collection. The ministry reported that 32 new manuscripts were added to the archives during the solar year 1404. These combined efforts in digitization, restoration, and acquisition are part of the ministry's broader mandate to safeguard the historical records of the country.
