NRC Calls for Urgent Aid for Families Displaced by Taliban-Pakistan Border Clashes in Eastern Afghanistan

KABUL (Afghan Verified) — The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has called for urgent humanitarian aid for thousands of families displaced by recent border clashes between Taliban forces and Pakistan in eastern Afghanistan.

These border clashes have triggered fresh waves of displacement in the eastern provinces, leaving the affected populations in precarious conditions.

NRC's appeal underscores the immediate needs for assistance to provide adequate shelter, water, healthcare and other essentials to mitigate the risks faced by the displaced families.
