Habibul Rahman Nuri, a resident of Paktia, handed over a historical sword to Afghanistan's National Museum. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Information and Culture for Culture and Art Maulvi Atiqullah Azizi.
The sword is more than 100 years old and dates to the Islamic era. Nuri inherited it from his grandfather, who served as a bodyguard to Amir Habibullah Khan and used the sword in jihad against British invaders.
Nuri had previously donated a historical statue to the same museum. Deputy Minister Azizi thanked Nuri for the contribution and called on the public to hand over historical artifacts to the ministry for preservation. The donation aims to strengthen the culture of preserving historical artifacts for future generations.
