The Ministry of Public Works reported that railway transfers to Afghanistan reached 7,602,419 metric tons in 1447.

This volume marked a 77.9 percent increase from the 4,272,000 metric tons recorded in 1446.

The transfers occurred primarily through the Hairatan, Aqina and Torghundi ports as well as the Khaf-Herat railway.

During the same period, 36,119 tons of commercial goods were transited and exported. These goods included dried fruits, rice, potatoes, mineral stones, cumin seeds, chickpeas, copper and pomegranate juice.
