Security forces in Nimroz province have successfully prevented the smuggling of a large shipment of medicine. The operation was conducted on the Zaranj-Delaram highway in Khashrod district.
The smuggled items consisted of human medicine weighing two thousand one hundred fifty-nine kilograms. This quantity was loaded into a Mazda vehicle that had come from Pakistan. The destination of the medicine was within Nimroz province.
During the interception, security personnel arrested one suspect who was involved in the transportation. The arrested individual will be transferred to the appropriate legal authorities for further action.
The details of the seizure were confirmed by Maulvi Gul Mohammad Qudrat. He is the spokesman for the Nimroz Police Command. He indicated that the forces are dedicated to ongoing operations against smuggling.
