Seven historical artifacts estimated to be approximately 300 years old were discovered in Farshqan Kalan village in the Sancharak district of Sar-e Pul province.
Local young people found the items, which consist of a pot, a lamp, a candlestick, a broken small pot, two pieces of a ladle handle and similar objects, while hunting migratory birds. The artifacts were then handed over to the provincial Information and Culture Directorate through village and district officials.
Mawlawi Abdul Ghaffar Haqnama, head of the Information and Culture Directorate for Sar-e Pul, said the artifacts form part of the country's cultural and historical identity.
