Security officials in Herat province announced the arrest of seven suspects in connection with a double murder and robbery that occurred twenty days ago in Langar village of Zindajan district.
A young man and his mother were killed and cash and jewellery were stolen from their home. The young man was killed in front of his mother, who was then killed after her hands were tied and her mouth covered.
Investigations by security and intelligence forces led to the identification and arrest of all seven suspects. Provincial police spokesman Doctor Syed Masood Hosseini stated that all suspects have confessed during preliminary investigations and the case will be referred to judicial authorities.
