Solar dryers distributed to 65 farmers in Paktika

The Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock in Paktika province provided solar dryers to a total of 65 farmers. The handover of these devices occurred as part of ongoing support for local agricultural activities in the region.

Mawlawi Lal Mohammad Gohar serves as the head of the Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock in Paktika. He explained that the solar dryers will facilitate the processing and preservation of produce for the farmers who received them.

Gohar further stated that the distribution is expected to reduce agricultural waste. The equipment is also projected to increase the incomes of the farmers and contribute to an improvement in their economic situation overall.

According to the director, similar programs continue to be implemented in Paktika. These efforts focus on enhancing the value of agricultural products for the benefit of the farming community.
