Taliban police in Kabul have identified the perpetrator of a vehicle attack that injured three young women in the capital's sixth security district.
A white Land Cruiser without license plates and with black tinted windows struck the women as they walked in western Kabul. The three victims were hospitalized and remain in stable condition.
Khalid Zadran, spokesman for the Taliban police command in Kabul, stated that the driver has been identified and that investigations are ongoing. No arrest has been reported.
Authorities confirmed the incident after video footage circulated widely on social media and drew public attention.
While Afghanistan International and Khaama Press reported the incident occurred on 17 Jawza, Amu TV reported that it took place on 20 Jawza in the Darulaman area. The identities of the victims have not been disclosed.

Reliability assessment
Three independent sources corroborate the core event based on on-record statements from named Taliban police spokesman Khalid Zadran; date discrepancy exists but does not undermine confirmation of the incident itself.
The source language mixes facts with framing or advocacy wording. Afghanistan International: "after the related video became viral" and "why the Taliban forces had not succeeded in arresting him during the past four days" – these phrases imply criticism and highlight perceived incompetence or delay by the authorities, adding mild advocacy tone to the reporting.; Khaama Press: "growing concerns over the safety and rights of women", "restrictions on education, employment and public participation have intensified", "increasing risks and limited access to legal protection" - these phrases frame the incident within a broader narrative of systemic oppression and risk, mixing factual reporting with opinionated advocacy language.
