An explosion occurred at a mine in the Kambak area of Raghistan district in Badakhshan province, killing two workers and wounding two others.

Ehsanullah Kamgar, spokesman for the Taliban security command in Badakhshan, said the incident took place on Monday, 27 Dalu. He stated that the cause of the explosion is still unclear and investigations are ongoing.

Mines in Afghanistan frequently experience such events. The lack of standard safety equipment for workers is a primary factor in these incidents.
